Sandy Hook

I followed the events of Friday as most of us did - on social media, news reports, talking with others, and listening to the radio. The first I heard was a Tweet that morning that said "hope principal at Sandy Hook is OK, hearing reports of a shooting". As the morning went on, of course we learned the horror of what had really taken place. I am so incredibly sad today as I sit at school and type this blog post and listen to the school noise outside my room - teachers, office intercom, students. I am thinking of and praying for a school where there are no noises today. The Sandy Hook school community is most definitely in my prayers, and I feel like I want to do something to help, and thanks to Jennifer Wagner, I can. Jennifer hosts wonderful projects at her website called  Projects by Jen.  She sent and email to all of her project participants to join her in a new project called A Caring Friend. I can't even imagine at all what the Sandy Hook family is going through right now, but I do feel a little better knowing that there is a way for me to express my care and concern. I hope you will consider joining this effort. If you have any other ideas for ways to help, please leave a comment below.
