It's that time of the year....time for the big winner to be announced in the Doodle 4 Google contest. This is one of my favorite projects to participate in each year! I love to see the creativity the kids have as they decide how to design a doodle based on the theme. Last year I was at an all K school, so I participated with 30 kindergarten classes. This year I participated with our students in 1st - 6th grades. It was so much fun. We voted on the finalists last week, and voting is now closed. The winner will be announced next Thursday, May 23rd and the winning doodle will be on the homepage for the day. I can hardly wait to see who wins. Click HERE to see all of the finalists. I have a slight obsession with Google doodles - I even have a whole board devoted to my favorites on Pinterest! I can't wait to add some of the amazing ones from this year to it.
