Global Read Aloud 2013

If you haven't signed up for the 2013 Global Read Aloud project, you definitely should. Click HERE to sign up. This year the book was The One and Only Ivan. I missed out on it because I didn't find out about it until it was too late. I still did a small book club with some of my students using the book.  It is a really good book if you haven't read it, and there is a lot of info. about the book online because it is based on a true story. Click HERE for more information and to make suggestions for the 2013 book selection. I suggested A Dog's Life for the pk- 3rd category, and The Cay for the 4th - 6th category. I'm not familiar with books for 7th and up, so I didn't suggest one for that category. What are some books you would suggest for the read aloud this year?  Leave a comment.
