As I am preparing for the blog button math project - see post HERE - I found out about the Instant Classroom site on Technology Tailbgate. Since I needed to divide my kids into groups, I decided to give it a try. WOW! I have only used the groups option - it will divide your class into groups of 2 - 10 students - and it is a real time-saver. One tip - make sure to print your groups page. It won't save it and when you create a new group you will start from scratch each time. The other options allow you to choose random students and there is a seating chart maker.
