January Currently

I am linking up with Farley at Oh boy 4th Grade for this months Currently. 

I am up early this morning and it is freezing! We have two heating units, one for the bedroom and one for the rest of the house and one or the other has been on all morning! I got some great things for Christmas, and I am loving every single thing from my new purse to my new boots! My house is a disaster and so is my car from all the Christmas traveling - but I really don't see any major cleaning in my future. We had a death in our family over the holidays, and so the whole family was together, talking about old times when the kids were little. I realized that I've got a lot of video tapes that we haven't watched in years, and can't watch because the player doesn't work anymore. I looked up online to see the cost of transferring the tapes to DVD, and Walgreens does it for about 30$ per tape. Definitely something I'm going to try and do by Easter so when we are all together again, we can watch some of them. And finally, healthy is my word of the year; ALL year. I do good until November, then it's not so good until after Christmas. I've eaten horribly and done no exercise this year through the holidays. Time for a healthy change!!  BTW, if figured out how to do the currently on my iMac, so here are the directions just in case anybody needs them:  copy the blank one from the website, paste into keynote, insert text box - 6 of them, type in the answers and drag them around to the right spot, select and delete the two boxes that are automatically there on the slide when you started, go to the top and click the share tab - the one at the very top of the computer screen - not the one at the top toolbar right above the slides, select send to iPhoto, open iPhoto, crop it. Then you are ready to add the picture to your post. Finally, publish it and click on the URL of the post to highlight then copy. Go back to the bottom of the currently post and click the add button at the bottom and follow the directions. If you need windows directions see my post HERE and HERE.
